Wrongful Death Lawsuit over Texas Nursing Home Neglect

Regent Care Center of League City, Texas is the defendant in a wrongful death lawsuit that accuses the nursing home of neglect, saying that staff put a female resident back in bed after she fell and suffered head trauma and was bleeding.
Rachel Mohr, 78, was yelling for help when she was found lying on the floor next to her bed. The lawsuit says, “She was neurologically alert, coherent, and in severe pain…She was placed back in bed and was later discovered nonresponsive.” Mohr was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries, the Daily News reported.
