Leah Smith, 22, has filed a lawsuit against fast food company Taco Bell after allegedly contracting salmonella poisoning from the Normal Oklahoma “Mexican-style fast-food restaurant chain.”

According to the lawsuit, Smith was sick for two weeks following a University of Oklahoma football game when she ate Taco Bell food.

The Centers for Disease Control said that 68 people were infected with salmonella after eating at Taco Bell, 16 of who are in Oklahoma. The Washington Post reported that Taco Bell issued a statement after the report from the CDC stating it takes food quality and safety seriously, and is reviewing supply procedures.

The lawsuit seeks more than $75,000 in damages.
