Peter Cambs, Senior Litigation Counsel for Parker Waichman Alonso LLP, has been named to the Plaintiff Steering Committee (PSC) in litigation surrounding the Ford 6.0 L diesel engine made by Navistar installed in some Ford heavy duty vehicles between 2003 and 2007.  The PSC will coordinate litigation and work together to represent all plaintiffs in the Multidistrict Litigation (MDL) against Ford Navistar diesel engine lawsuits.

The PSC is tasked with conducting all pretrial discovery, prepare and examine witnesses, act as the plaintiff’s spokesperson at pretrial proceedings, negotiate with defendants on litigation, and work with Lead Counsel to call meetings of counsel for plaintiffs when necessary and to perform other tasks as necessary.

The lawsuits allege that the enormous costs of the Ford 6.0 L diesel engine repairs, as well as the loss of use and loss of resale value of the vehicles have caused significant financial harm. The lawsuits seek damages associated with the costs of the purchase price of the vehicles, costs and expenses incurred in attempted repairs and the loss of use of the vehicles.

Peter Cambs’ area of practice includes Mass Torts; Toxic Torts; Defective Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Liability; Personal Injury Litigation and Wrongful Death Claims; Medical Malpractice and Product Liability claims.
