Former Chabad Youth leader, Aron Ezriel Kestecher, 26, has been charged with four counts of indecent acts on a child under the age of 16. Kestecher recently worked as a substitute teacher at Yeshivah College, an Australian boys school which is currently the focus of a police investigation in pedophilia.

Kestercher’s arrest come one month after a Yeshivah College security guard was charged with multiple counts of indecent assault and gross indecency after he allegedly repeatedly molested boys from the school between 1984 and 1991.

Police also have asked anyone who was assaulted or knows of someone assaulted between 1989 and 1993 to come forward, as Yeshivah College Teacher David Kramer is claimed to have fled Austrialia in the early 1990s after parents complained that he was abusing children. Australian officials hope to extradite Kramer from the US after he is released from a seven-year prison term for molesting a 12-year old boy at a synagogue in St. Louis, The Age reported.

Yeshivah College principal Rabbi Yehoshua Smukler has written a letter asking anyone who is aware of or suspects abuse to contact the authorities. ”If you have any concerns about abuse … please contact me directly … and I will immediately contact the relevant authorities,” Mr Smukler wrote.
